Kate Middleton Just Tried Out One of Her Favorite Hobbies While Celebrating Windrush Day

While celebrating Windrush Day in London yesterday, Kate Middleton decided to practice a trade she's become known for in recent years—and that's going behind the camera. Though the Duchess of Cambridge is often the subject of many photo ops and videos, she couldn't help but hop on the other side of the lens while hanging out with some young creatives.

As she was interacting with the young British-Caribbean artists at Brixton House, the future queen of England stepped behind the lens and began recording the immediate surroundings. According to The Independent, Middleton quickly realized "you need a lot of upper body strength” to operate the camera though she was a complete trooper and was seen taking some pointers from visual artist Davinia Clarke, who helped her maneuver the equipment.

But Middleton's fascination with cameras is hardly a surprise. The 40-year-old mother of three has been her family's designated photographer for years now. Many of the Cambridge's official photos have been snapped by the duchess herself—including the sweet birthday post of Prince William rolling around with their kids (above), as well as this stunning portrait of Princess Charlotte, colorful pic of Prince Louis and this sunny pic of Prince George.

Maybe she'll incorporate some of those tips from Clarke into future family portraits?
