Kate Middleton Was in Full-on Parenting Mode Today (& Even Showed Off Her Signature Move)

As a mother of three kids, Kate Middleton, 41, certainly has a few parenting tricks up her sleeve.

Earlier this morning, the Princess of Wales visited the Riversley Park Children’s Centre in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, where she personally met with healthcare workers and families. So naturally, the royal entered complete mom mode and even used her signature parenting move when interacting with the children at the facility.

While at the center, Princess Catherine candidly spoke with families taking part in a field study funded by her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which aims to shape children’s lives in the early stages of development.

In the photo below, the royal princess got to meet a mother and her infant participating in the experiment. Instantly, her parenting side came out as she talked to the child and held her hand.

After venturing outside of the children’s center, Princess Kate was greeted by a group of children that were eager to meet her. In a matter of seconds, the mother of three used her tried-and-true parenting move—bending down at eye level to talk to the children face-to-face. This method helps create a level playing field and allows the child to feel comfortable and communicate freely.

The royal has often shown off her parenting skills while attending royal outings. Just last month, the Princess of Wales made a surprise appearance at the Chelsea Flower Show in London. While talking to an elementary school student, Middleton bent down to shake her hand and converse.
