Kate Middleton Does Her Signature Parenting Move During Trip to Belize

Kate Middleton has been known to use a signature parenting move anytime she's around children. Whether she’s using it at home on her son Prince George or while attending a Christmas concert, the royal has displayed the technique time and time again. And now, she's trying out her go-to move on her current royal tour.

Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off their Caribbean tour, making their first destination a small village in Belize. In a video posted to the couple’s official Instagram page, Middleton and Prince William are spending time with the Garifuna community and taking part in their traditions.

The clip starts with the duke dancing the local “punta” and showing off his killer moves in the process. Then, the video cuts to Middleton using her hack (bending down to eye level) to greet the children. Even Prince William takes a page from his wife’s book and uses the same pose to converse with the kids face to face.

“Wow! What a welcome,” the caption read on the post. “It was a privilege to spend time with the Garifuna community and experience some of their traditions, here in Hopkins. Thank you Mama G for hosting such a special event!”

Middleton has used this technique many times before. Just last month, the duchess used her signature stance on her recent visit to Copenhagen, Denmark. While visiting a forest kindergarten, she bent down and talked to the children at eye level. By using this particular method of communication, she is allowing the children to express themselves on equal terms.

We're totally stealing this.
