Kate Middleton left George, Charlotte and Louis at home today to hang with other kids as she opened a new school in London.
The duchess (or should we say, dame?) stepped out wearing an emerald green custom Emilia Wickstead A-Line dress with beige heels, beige clutch, green earrings and her signature bouncy blowout.
The Pears Family School, part of the Anna Freud National Center for Children and Families' new north London headquarters, brings parents into the classroom with children who are at-risk of being excluded as outcasts. They specifically address the needs of these students who are "unsuited to meet the demands of mainstream school."
Middleton is patron of the Anna Freud National Center, and also visited the charity's brand-new Kantor Centre of Excellence, which brings together leading doctors in neuroscience, mental health, social care, child development, research and education, alongside young people and their families.
Middleton gave a short speech during her visit, saying she's "learnt so much" from her work with the Center.
“We are all here today because we care so much about transforming the mental health of children, young people, and their families,” she said.
“I have learnt so much about early childhood development and the importance of support for parents through your work here at the Anna Freud Centre. This is something I really do care about.”
This is the first event for duchess Kate since Easter break, though she attended Anzac Day services with Prince Harry last week. She and Prince William reportedly paid a visit to Harry and Meghan Markle's new home of Frogmore Cottage recently, too, which makes us wonder if Markle has already given birth?
