Kate Middleton Wears Her Second Mint Dress in 5 Days…so We Guess It's Officially the Color of Spring
The quest for flattering pastels can be as difficult as an Easter egg hunt (and just as colorful), but Kate Middleton seems to have found a favorite hue all her own.
For Prince Charles’s 50th Investiture Anniversary celebration at Buckingham, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were reunited with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for the first time since Christmas. For the occasion, Middleton donned a pale green (borderline icy blue) high-neck blouse dress, and it reminded us of the sparkly mint-green Missoni gown she wore last Thursday to the music hall in Belfast.
Both of Middleton’s dresses are of the same robin’s egg blue/light seafoam green palette, and of the same cut as well (because both duchesses know that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!).
Both dresses feature a midi-length hem, billowy Bishop sleeves that gather at a cuff around the wrist, and a defined waist…and our spring outfit research is all but complete.
The verdict is in: Pastel blue-green (and cream and metallic brocade!) for spring (and don't tell us it's not groundbreaking).
