Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve surely heard by now that her royal awesomeness, Kate Middleton, is pregnant with her third child. And, like her two previous pregnancies, she’s suffering from severely gnarly morning sickness that, sadly, can’t seem to be remedied, according to Prince William.
Last week, the prince attended an awards ceremony and reception for the Metropolitan & City Police Orphans Fund at London’s Guildhall, where he chatted with a former recipient of the charity’s benevolence, 98-year-old Iris Orrell. Thinking she surely had the cure for K-Middy’s hyperemesis gravidarum, Orrell insisted she try ginger cookies. Grateful for the advice, Prince William responded,“There’s not much ginger can do to stop that. We’ve done all that.” Sigh, poor Kate.
On a happier note, the duchess plans to make her first public appearance since her pregnancy announcement next Tuesday, October 10, at the World Mental Health Day event alongside Prince William and Prince Harry at Buckingham Palace.
Kate and Harry certainly have a lot to talk about.
