Kensington Palace Posted a Kate Middleton Birthday Photo—and Meghan & Harry Just Commented on It

It’s been quite the week for the royal family. And in the midst of the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “stepping back as senior members of the Royal Family,” one of the other members of the royal bunch is celebrating a birthday—Kate Middleton.

On Thursday, Kensington Palace released a stunning portrait of the Duchess of Cambridge in honor of her 38th birthday.

"Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages on The Duchess of Cambridge's birthday!" the caption read.

It wasn’t long before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry commented on the Instagram photo of the duchess. "Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duchess of Cambridge today!” So we guess all is well?

In the photo, we see the mother of three dressed down in jeans, a checked white and blue shirt and a pale grey jumper. The birthday portrait (which was taken at Anmer Hall, William and Kate's country home in Norfolk) was shot by one of the family's go-to photographers, Matt Porteous, who famously took Prince Louis's christening shots, Prince George's birthday portraits and the family's Christmas cards in the past years. (It looks like this snap could even be a photo from last year’s Christmas card photoshoot).

Happy birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge!
