Kate Middleton Just Rewore Her Statement Blazer by Alexander McQueen

When it comes to fashion, Kate Middleton always brings her A-game, even when conducting royal engagements through Zoom.

On Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge, alongside her husband, Prince William, participated in a video call with first-year Adult Nursing students at Ulster University. During the clip, the trio discussed the students’ experiences of studying and undertaking placements during the pandemic.

“Nursing is one of the most trusted professions in the country, so you couldn't have chosen a better career choice and it's needed now more than ever,” Middleton said in a video shared on Instagram. “You've got almost three generations now—those coming back from retirement but also you guys doing your training who are stepping up. It shows real commitment and real teamwork, and it should really be celebrated, so really well done.”

For the occasion, the mother of three looked casual-chic in a cream sweater with gold jewelry. The highlight of the outfit? A fitted black, tuxedo blazer from Alexander McQueen with statement shoulders.

And this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the statement blazer. Back in October, the 39-year-old rocked the piece while teasing the winner of 2020’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year. That time, she paired the piece with a black, long sleeve, matching trousers and minimalist pearl teardrop earrings.

We’re not surprised she opted for the blazer for a second time. Middleton has long been a fan of Alexander McQueen, she even walked down the aisle in a dress by the British fashion designer.

We suddenly feel the need to up our Zoom style.
