HBO Max Drops New Trailer & Premiere Date for Kaley Cuoco’s ‘The Flight Attendant’

HBO Max made two major announcements about Kaley Cuoco’s all-new TV series, The Flight Attendant.

The streaming service just dropped the first official trailer and premiere date (November 26) for the highly anticipated show, which stars the 34-year-old actress as a flight attendant named Cassandra Bowden.

In the trailer (see above), we’re introduced to the thrilling plot, which follows Cassandra as she tries to remember what happened the night prior. Although it started out as fun and games, she’s forced to piece together the events after waking up next to a dead body.

We first learned about The Flight Attendant back in August 2019 when PureWow sat down with Cuoco at an event in Manhattan celebrating the launch of Marshalls Surprise Box. While there, she discussed the upcoming series, which is based on the namesake novel by Chris Bohjalian.

In an attempt to get to know her character, Cuoco studied the aviation staff on her recent trips to ensure she embodied the role to a T. So, what exactly did she take away from the experience?

“I learned that their hair always has to be back,” she said. “And they immediately change—on a long flight—out of their heels and put on their comfy shoes.” And honestly, same.

However, Cuoco admitted that she’s probably not cut out for a life in the skies. “I don’t know how flight attendants do it—I would be internally annoyed the entire time,” she said, adding, “They’ve got a lot of patience.”

The Big Bang Theory star went on to say that if there’s one thing she learned from being a flight attendant, it’s that you really do have to care about how the passengers feel. She continued, “And you know some people have a fear of flying, and you’ve got to have some sort of empathy when you’re on a plane—so empathy is something I’m learning a lot about.”

Well, looks like we’ll be overly friendly to the next flight attendant we come across.
