Kaia Gerber, the 16-year-old daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, just let us in on a little family secret.
At the preview of Gerber’s new spring/summer 2018 campaign for Hudson Jeans (we, too, have déjà vu of Crawford’s 1992 Pepsi commercial), the model revealed that she doesn’t share clothes with her mama. Say what?!.
In a recent interview with E! News, Gerber said, “My mom and I aren’t the same size. She’s a bit taller. And we’re not the same shoe size, either, which is heartbreaking. I know that we have a lot of the same mannerisms and, obviously, look a little bit alike, but yeah, I’d say we have different senses of humor and stuff like that.”
Did she just say “look a little bit alike”? We beg to differ.
If there’s one thing Crawford does give her daughter, however, it’s the typical mom advice we all love. “She gives me advice for life more than modeling, like ‘Be on time,’ which is really important in the industry we’re both in,” Gerber said. “And to be kind to everyone. Everyone that I’ve worked with says she’s the most professional person that they work with, so I could only hope that they say the same thing about me.”
Excuse us while we google Cindy Crawford’s shoe size. *Crosses fingers for only a half—OK, fine, we’d even take full—size difference*
