Fear not, Leftovers fans! Justin Theroux is back, and he just signed on to star alongside Emma Stone and Jonah Hill in the highly-anticipated new Netflix series Maniac.
Yesterday, the streaming giant announced Theroux's involvement in the project and his recurring role as the character James Mantleray.
The ten-episode dark comedy was inspired by the namesake Norwegian TV show and will follow the story of a man who lives his best life in his dreams but, in reality, resides in a mental institution. Hill and Stone portray fellow patients in the institution.
Acclaimed True Detective director Cary Fukunaga (of the amazing first season with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson—we won't speak of the second season.) is confirmed to helm alongside Patrick Somerville (The Leftovers), who is also signed on to pen the script. Stone and Hill will executive produce in addition to their starring roles.
Sadly, a premiere date for Maniac hasn't been announced, but we're all for Netflix's casting decisions.
