Julia Louis-Dreyfus ‘Roars’ Through Cancer Treatment with a Little Help from Her Pals
A few weeks ago, Emmy-winning actress (and our imaginary best friend) Julia Louis-Dreyfus shared a devastating breast cancer diagnosis. Now she’s given her fans an update, and (no surprises here) she’s done it in the most badass way—and even got some help from her pals. (Warning: Don’t watch the video without tissues on standby.)
Sharing an image on Instagram, the Veep star revealed that she finished her second round of chemotherapy. She captioned the mustached pic, “We are NOT f*cking around here,” and included lyrics to the ultimate power anthem, Katy Perry’s “Roar.”
She also thanked two of her Veep costars, Tony Hale (Gary Walsh) and Timothy Simons (Jonah Ryan). While we don’t know exactly what she was thanking them for, we’re pretty sure it was for being two totally awesome and supportive pals. As evidenced by another video that Louis-Dreyfus later posted:
She captioned the video, “How lucky am I that these bozos have my back? What a moving inspiration to my day. I’ve watched it a gazillion times.” Us, too, JLD. Us, too.
We’re not crying, you’re crying...
