Jude Law Just Became a Dad—for the Sixth Time

Congrats are in order for Jude Law!

During his recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, the Sherlock Holmes actor casually mentioned that he "had a baby," confirming that he has welcomed a sixth child with his wife, Phillipa Coan.

After Fallon congratulated him, Law described the experience as "unusual" because of the COVID pandemic. However, he added that becoming a dad again has been "really wonderful." He said, "We feel pretty blessed that we were in a time where we could, as a family, just nest and enjoy each other's company."

Rumors of Coan's pregnancy began when photos were taken of the couple back in May. A small baby bump could be seen peeking through while they went on a daily walk in North London.

Previously, the father of six expressed being open to more children in the future (and thankfully his wish came true). "I love it, so absolutely why not? I’m very lucky to be involved with someone I’m madly in love with..." he told Daily Mail. "The idea of having more children would be just wonderful. I’m fortunate to be with someone where I’m having more fun than I’ve ever had in my life."

Before Coan, the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald star was married to actress Sadie Frost, with whom he shares three children: Rafferty, Iris and Rudy. He also has a 10-year-old and a five-year-old from two other previous relationships.

Law and Coan made their relationship official back in 2015 at the Hay Literary Festival before getting engaged in 2019. The couple secretly got married three months after their engagement in London. Since it was super low-key and intimate (with a small gathering of family and close friends), it's not surprising that they kept the pregnancy news close to home.

Congrats again to the happy family!
