Jonathan Van Ness’s Mini LBD Was a Major Win at the Creative Arts Emmys

It was a big weekend for Queer Eye’s Fab Five. The group attended the 71st Creative Arts Emmys’ two-day ceremony in Los Angeles and took home four awards. But perhaps an even bigger win? Jonathan Van Ness’s red carpet look.

Yup, although known for his grooming expertise, it’s clear JVN is no stranger to fashion. He stunned on the red carpet in a beautiful gown by designer Christian Siriano.

The LBD was strapless and rather short, but it featured a giant mint and lime green bow that extended into a dramatic train. To top it all off, he wore some heeled platform peep-toe boots. Yes, it was major.

And of course, he wasn’t traveling solo—the rest of the cast looked equally stunning.

Karamo Brown wore a fur-trimmed coat, while Bobby Berk wore a relaxed suit. Chef Antoni Porowski rocked a perfectly tailored tux with a bow tie, and Tan France wore a traditional jacquard sherwani in a cream color.

Van Ness and France even had a sweet red carpet moment together, which the 32-year-old shared to Instagram later.

“Their friendship & support teaches me so much,” he captioned the post. “To ask for help, they affirm me in all the ways friends should, and they’ve also taught me that I can trust them. Through all the ups, downs, happy times, privately stressful times we always are there. Thanks so much to everyone involved with Queer Eye especially our crew, producers, pre and post production, ITV & Netflix and my whole team THANK YOU!”

And of course, there was an outfit change for the after-party at Hotel Figueroa.
