JoJo Fletcher Just Dished Behind-the-Scenes Details About How Bachelor Nation Proposals Really Happen

We all know what a Bachelor or Bachelorette proposal entails: a Neil Lane diamond, lots of tears (some from the runner up) and a fairy tale location. But, there’s more to a Bachelor Nation engagement that goes on behind the scenes according to former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher.

The 28-year-old Engaged with Jojo & Jordan star spilled the details about how Bachelor and Bachelorette engagements really go down on the latest episode of the Betches Brides podcast.

When the podcast host asked Fletcher if she got to see any potential engagement rings before the show, Fletcher said that wasn’t the case.

“In the beginning of the season, producers kind of ask, ‘So, what is your style?’ And I told them, ‘I like an oval.’ I wasn’t really sure. I knew I wanted it to be pretty simple and dainty,” she explained.

When the time came for Jordan Rodgers, her now fiancé of three years, to propose, it seems the Bachelorette powers that be didn’t quite take Fletcher’s wishes to heart.

“Jordan told me that when he was shown the options for the rings, there was only one ring that was an oval and the rest were all totally not my style. So, in a way it made his choice, obviously, really easy,” she revealed.

Fletcher went on to open up about what it’s like becoming a Bachelor Nation couple and revealed how difficult it is. “It’s crazy. You meet someone on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette and it’s this whirlwind romance and you’re on a high and you come off and you’re thinking that you totally know this person but, in all honesty, you really don’t,” she admitted. “You really start to date that person again off the show. For us, three years was exactly what we needed.”

That said, Fletcher went on to reveal that she and Rodgers do not plan to televise their wedding or make it a Bachelor Nation event.

Consider the Bachelor and Bachelorette tea spilled.
