After achieving EGOT status and voicing the delightfully catchy “Hairband of the Day” anthem, the world is John Legend’s oyster. So what will he do next?

The ten-time Grammy winner has officially signed on to become a coach on season 16 of The Voice.

Legend will replace Jennifer Hudson after the show’s 15th season, which kicks off on September 24, so we have quite a bit of time until we see him in the coach’s chair.

Nonetheless, the dad of two expressed his excitement in a statement, saying, “I’m thrilled to join the coaches of The Voice. I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.” Oh, boy.

Legend will join coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson when he takes over Hudson’s spot.

You might want to perfect that chair swivel now, John.
