This 'Stranger Things' Actor Just Released a Debut Single, and He's Somehow Even Better at Singing Than Acting?!

Nope, this isn't the Upside Down. Joe Keery, aka Steve Harrington from Netflix's Stranger Things, is a fantastic singer, and just released his first single.

The song, called "Roddy," is from Keery's first musical project, titled Djo. The 27-year-old actor posted the music's artwork to his Instagram, and captioned it "if you haven’t found it - link in bio." The song, which has been labeled as "slow-burning" and "psychedelic pop" is on YouTube and Spotify, and it's actually seriously catchy. (We're just mad it's not called "The Mind Flayer.")

According to NME, this isn't Keery's first foray into music. Before Djo, Keery was part of Chicago band Post Animal and can be heard of their tracks "Ralphie" and "Dirtpicker," though the actor left before the band's first album was released.

As AV Club points out, Stranger Things stars Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), and Finn Wolfhard (Mike) are all also musicians, so we guess this Netflix show is basically the breeding ground for multi-talented stars? Can the Demagorgon play an instrument, too?

Keery (and his famous Farrah-Fawcett-hairsprayed 'do) also starred in the recently released Stranger Things season three, and fans are already theorizing about what will go down in season four, which will "open up a little bit" and explore "plot lines into areas outside of Hawkins,” show creator Matt Duffer told Entertainment Weekly.

Lovable sidekick, crooning pop star and owner of naturally luscious locks? What did we do to deserve you, Keery?
