JoAnna Garcia Swisher just shared a mushy post in honor of her husband, retired MLB player Nick Swisher.
The Sweet Magnolias star recently posted three never-before-seen selfies on Instagram to celebrate Nick’s birthday.
The first photo features the couple posing for the camera, and it’s followed by two more similar pictures. One is a candid shot of the pair standing near a car, while the last pic shows Nick sporting a massive smile.
The caption read, “When I close my eyes and thank God for all the blessings in my life, it starts with you. Happy Birthday @yourboyswish. I love you SO much [red heart emoji].”
Many fans recognize Swisher from Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias, where she plays Maddie. In an interview with Us Weekly, the actress discussed the upcoming second season and confirmed that fans will get answers about that shocking cliffhanger. (You know, when Kyle—played by Logan Allen—crashed his car with an unknown passenger in the front seat.) However, Swisher explained that the car crash is just the beginning of what’s to come.
“It’s not even the most interesting part of season two, and it’s not even the most interesting part of the first episode,” she told the mag. “When I read the script, I had kind of known that. I mean, obviously, it’s very interesting to find out who [it] is. That is obviously a huge cliffhanger, but I was like, ‘Oh, OK, so it’s really like a one-two punch.’”
We can’t wait for Sweet Magnolias season two (and for Swisher to share more family pics).
