Chip & Joanna Gaines’s Son Is Already Following in His Parents' Footsteps

It seems Joanna Gaines has a new partner-in crime. (No offense, Chip.)

This week, the Fixer Upper star, 45, shared a video on Instagram documenting her latest honey harvest. (Yes, the Gaines family has a bee farm.) Instead of doing it solo, Joanna enlisted a surprising helper: her 5-year-old son, Crew.

The video shows Joanna and Crew dressed in beekeeper’s outfits as they prepare to harvest honey. When they arrive at the hive, Crew shows no fear standing next to the bees and crouching down to get a better look at his friends.

The caption read, “Honey Harvest on the farm 8/26. Grateful for the ten gallons of beautiful, golden honey! Well done, you amazing little bees.”

Those who follow Joanna on social media will know that this activity is very on-brand for Crew. In fact, the 5-year-old has always loved nature and the outdoors. Yesterday, Joanna posted a photo of Crew harvesting eggs from their family’s chicken coop. She wrote, “Early boy gets the [egg emoji].”

Earlier this year, Joanna shared another video on Instagram featuring little Crew admiring a garden of flowers. The caption read, “When we got back from our snow vacation, everything had BLOOMED in the garden. Crew could not contain his excitement about all our new flower friends.”

In addition to Crew, Chip and Joanna are also parents to Drake (18), Ella (16), Duke (14) and Emmie (12).
