You can officially cross "visit Waco, Texas" off your bucket list because Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines is putting in the time and effort our ex couldn't be bothered with and making all of our long-distance relationship dreams come true with her exciting, new design-centric memoir.
Yesterday, Joanna took to Instagram to announce her literary venture in which she'll be chronicling her journey to HGTV mavenhood. She posted a photo of a laptop along with the caption, “Day 1 of shooting images for my design book! I got so giddy when we captured the first few photos. We have been preparing for this book for so long, and I'm excited to finally see it take shape. It will be a deep dive into all things home and design with lots of pretty details. I can't wait to share it with you!”
Joanna's husband, Chip Gaines, is working on his own memoir, Capital Gaines: The Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff, due out in October and currently available for pre-order.
Joanna has yet to reveal the title or release date for her memoir (aka our new bible), but you betcha it's on our 2017-2018 reading wish list. A minimum of one chapter dedicated to sizable clocks? One hundred percent necessary.
All we want for Christmas is Joanna's new memoir to proudly display on our Magnolia coffee table.
