Jimmy Kimmel Shares Sweet Update on Son Billy’s Heart Condition
In early May, Jimmy Kimmel revealed his newborn son, Billy, was born with a rare heart defect during an emotional 13-minute monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live. On Friday, the late night host shared an update on baby Billy via social media that is almost too cute for words.
Kimmel posted an adorable picture of Billy on Instagram along with an update on his progress. “Billy is three months old today and doing great,” he wrote. “Thanks for all your love & support and please remind your Congress people that every kid deserves the care Billy got.”
Billy (aka William John Kimmel) was born on April 21, 2017, and diagnosed with a rare heart condition, tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with pulmonary atresia. Although he underwent an emergency procedure to repair the partial defect mere hours after his birth, Billy will still need to undergo an additional operation in his early teenage years in order to fully treat his heart condition.
We just can't get enough of Baby Billy's yummy chubby cheeks. Bring it on, you little ham!
