Jimmy Kimmel Shares Update on Baby Son Billys Heart Condition During First ‘Live Set Visit

In May, Jimmy Kimmel shared the heart-wrenching details of his newborn son Billy's life-threatening heart condition, and now, three and a half months later making his first official visit to the Jimmy Kimmel Live! set, baby Billy is happy, growing and totally hamming it up.

On Wednesday, Kimmel brought his son to check out where daddy makes all the funny happen. Billy may be only three and a half months old, but he clearly has his eyes on the family business—tough luck, Guillermo.

Kimmel further opened up about Billy’s prognosis, reiterating that he still needs two surgeries to fully repair the heart defect, but other than that, Billy is “doing great” and starting to develop interests of his own. “He is very interested in ceiling fans. He likes those a lot. I could get him to pay the same amount for Netflix just to watch ceiling fans,” Kimmel joked to The Hollywood Reporter.

We like the way you think, Billy, and welcome every day as a “Bring Billy to Work Day.”
