Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘Baby Bachelor in Paradise’ Is Exactly What We Needed in Our Lives
As Bachelor Nation slowly comes down from the high of last night’s season 13 finale of The Bachelorette, Jimmy Kimmel generously stepped up to fulfill our reality TV needs with a truly wonderful spin-off series: Baby Bachelor in Paradise.
Last night, the host debuted the first episode of the Bachelor franchise spoof on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and introduced us to its ten toddler contestants indulging in “passionate play dates,” “canoodling in the kiddie pool” and competing for the chance to find true love.
Episode one opens with two contestants (Kennedy and Aiden) staring lovingly into each other’s eyes. “Welcome to paradise,” Kimmel narrates. “A serene utopia for small children whose parents, for some reason, had no problem with them doing this.”
The rest of the clip involves a montage of kids bickering, “that’s my husband” accusations and tequila milk-fueled arguments. While we're only one episode deep, little Miss Mayzie is clearly shaping up to be the next Corinne.
So, who will find love and who will be sent napping? Guess we’ll have to wait until Kimmel releases episode two of our new favorite reality TV guilty pleasure, Baby Bachelor in Paradise.
We see you, Bella, and we like what you're working with.
