J.Lo Finally Identified the Mystery Man in Her Selfie (& No, It Wasn’t A-Rod)

Remember when Jennifer Lopez posted a photo on social media that featured a mysterious man in the background? Well, the case has officially been solved. (Disclaimer: It wasn’t Alex Rodriguez.)

It all started last week when J.Lo posted a selfie on Instagram, which featured an unexpected guest in the shot. Above the singer’s right shoulder, there’s a reflection of a man’s face, which is partially covered by a mask.

Fans were understandably concerned, since it looks like she’s being spied on by a surprisingly hygienic peeping Tom.

However, Lopez recently addressed the photo during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The musician laughed before revealing the mystery man wasn’t on their property. Rodriguez was on a Zoom call with a real estate agent slash friend, whose reflection was at the right place at the right time.

“That was a Zoom!” Lopez said. And then added, “It was some real estate guy that Alex was on Zoom with. I don’t know!”

The singer went on to explain the photo was taken in their makeshift at-home gym, saying, “So imagine, I’m back there working out because where we have the Zoom set up is right by our garage. And we didn’t have a gym in the house, so we got a bench and a few weights, and I have my rehearsal mirrors back there for dance rehearsal.”

Case closed.
