As if we needed another reason to love Jennifer Lopez, the World of Dance star recently used a gender-neutral pronoun to refer to her sister’s child, Brendan, and may we just say... Yaas, Queen. YAASS!

On Tuesday, Lopez took to Instagram to digitally beam with pride when she found out Brendan was chosen to attend the Global Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C., but the Bronx beauty's choice of pronoun was what caught the internet's attention.

“This is Brendan my sister Leslie's second child,” she wrote. “They were the one person selected to represent their school at #globalyoungleadersconference in Washington DC!!! And I couldn't be more proud!!! Brendan is strong and smart and loving and obviously a leader!! Titi Jenn loves you!!"

Lopez’s followers were quick to point out the singer’s use of “they”—instead of he, she, niece or nephew—and began filling the comments section with words of admiration and praise for respecting Brendan’s preferences.

Brava, Titi Jenn. Brava.
