All the Details on Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez’s Intimate Engagement Party

It’s been almost six months since Alex Rodriguez proposed to Jennifer Lopez while they were on vacation in the Bahamas. And the couple just celebrated their upcoming wedding with an intimate engagement party.

On Friday night, J.Lo and A-Rod were joined by their closest friends and family for a lavish get-together in honor of their highly anticipated nuptials.

According to E! News, the engagement party took place at Carole Bayer Sager’s Bel Air home, which was quaintly decorated with candles, flowers and purple-tinted lights.

Rodriguez shared a candid snap on Instagram and wrote, “So great celebrating with family and close friends last night.”

Lopez channeled her inner bride in a stunning white dress, featuring ruffles and a one-shoulder silhouette. A-Rod opted for a black suit with no tie. (Because why not?)

The “On the Floor” singer also documented the party on Instagram and posted a PDA photo with the caption, “Thank you Carol and Bob for the most beautifully elegant night…we love you.”

Several familiar faces were in attendance at the engagement party, including Leah Remini, Benny Medina, Angelo Pagan and Ryan Seacrest. The couple’s children—Natasha (14), Ella (11) and twins Emme and Max (also 11)—also joined the festivities.
