Jennifer Garner Has a Genius Hack to Help Prioritize Workouts, Because Of Course She Does

When Jennifer Garner shares a hack to make mom life a little easier, we listen. So you better believe that when the Peppermint star broke down her foolproof plan for not missing a workout for Women’s Health, we took note.

“The first thing I do is work out before I talk myself out of it,” Garner explained. “I have my clothes laid out already (something I do the night before) and the coffee maker set so I can’t make excuses—whether I’m exhausted or not.” Sounds doable, right?

The Pretend Cooking Show star went on to share that she typically opts for a Body by Simone class, which is a cardio workout that involves lots of dancing, fun music and sometimes even trampolines (yep). But even if she can’t fit in an hour-long workout, Garner tries to log a little shvitz sesh. “Even if I can only do it for 20 minutes, I make sure I’m sweating by the end, and that’s a victory. I don’t judge myself,” she shared.

Garner also added a little nugget of advice for busy ladies like herself, saying, “Don’t let perfect get in the way of good. Don’t tell yourself, ‘I can’t workout because I don’t have an hour.’ Do the 15 minutes you have and feel good about it. Exercise is about consistency.”

Aye, aye, Jen. We guess we can spend that spare half hour on abs instead of Instagram.
