Jennifer Garner Hops on the TikTok ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ Trend and Pulls Out a Number of Iconic Throwbacks

We love it when celebrities hop on viral trends, and Jennifer Garner just made our day with her latest video on Instagram, as she took part in the “Teenage Dirtbag” trend.

In case you were unaware, the “Teenage Dirtbag” movement started on TikTok and it's pretty straightforward—users post throwback photos of themselves as teens while the Wheatus song “Teenage Dirtbag” plays in the background.

Of course, Garner loves to post throwbacks to her Instagram, so it makes sense that she wouldn't let this trend slip by without taking part.

With her video, Garner simply typed a shrugging emoji in her caption. The clip starts out with the 13 Going on 30 actress filming herself in front of the Golden Gate Bridge and she added text that says, “My ‘teenage dirtbag’ photos.”

Then, the video flies through a collage of pics from Garner's teenage years, which includes photos of her in ballet class, playing in the band, making silly faces and more. We also get a glimpse of the star's early foray into acting, as we see her dressed up like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz in one snap, as well as a shot of her dressed up like a nun in another.

While we loved these photos, it appears that fans and fellow celebs did just as much. In fact, because Garner posted a couple shots of herself dancing, professional dancers flooded the comments to show how impressed they were by her technique.

Alex Wong wrote, “Omg you on pointe!!!!” Meanwhile, American Ballet Theatre's principal dancer Skylar Brandt commented a fire emoji and said, “You on pointe.” Another ABT principal dancer, Cassandra Trenary, was impressed by Garner's form too, writing, “That arabesque is square thouggghhhh.”

The Adam Project star seemingly hasn't lost her love for dancing, because she posted a TikTok back in April where she showed off a few of her moves. She tagged her dancing partner in the comments, writing, “@Tiler Peck, you make the sun shine bright.”

Garner has also been in quite the throwback mood lately. Just a couple weeks back, she shared a vintage pic with her sisters from when they were children and wrote, “The best thing that ever happened to me was growing up between my sisters. ♥️ #NationalMiddleChildDay.”

We never get tired of your throwbacks, Jen.
