While fan mail is a thing of the past (thanks to social media), Jennifer Garner is here to bring it back (kind of).
The Camping star dressed up as a mailbox for Halloween and put all other celeb costumes to shame. She posted a video on Instagram, showcasing her head-to-toe U.S. Postal Service attire (even down to the stamp-inspired socks) and we're pretty sure the mail service would give her a stamp of approval (so many mail puns!).
The IG video starts off with Garner giving a commencement speech at her alma mater, Denison University, about Halloween costumes. "When it comes to Halloween costumes, go funny over sexy. Why would you dress as a flirty nurse when you can be a mailbox?" she told the crowd.
Well, the Peppermint star stuck to her word as the next clip shows a smiling Garner twirling in her homemade costume (with "Monster Mash" playing in the background, of course). She captioned the video, "Live your truth, people. Happy Halloween."
She shared the post on Halloween Eve and it already has over 900,000 views. Quite a few of her celeb friends even praised the costume in the comments, including Reese Witherspoon, Rachel Zoe and Sara Foster.
This isn't the first time Garner surprised us with a fun Halloween costume. Last year, the mom of three dressed as the Wicked Witch of the West in all-green makeup that looked straight out of the Broadway musical Wicked. She even wore the look for her "Pretend Cooking Show" as she stood in character making tomatillo salsa.
While her kids may be less enthusiastic about their mother's unique Halloween costume ideas, we're signing off on this delivery.
