Even Jennifer Garner Suffers from Baking Fails, and We Have Photographic Evidence

Proof that even the most seasoned bakers (and “Pretend Cooking Show” hosts) suffer from kitchen setbacks: Jennifer Garner attempted a new recipe last week…to somewhat gruesome final results.

The 46-year-old actor shared a photo on Instagram of what she’s calling “cinnamon bread men,” which we assume is a mashup of gingerbread men cookies and cinnamon rolls. While we agree that the concept is cute, it looks like she had a little trouble upon execution. (Pun not intended.)

She captioned the pic, “My cinnamon bread men seem to have had a run in with the mafia, but they went right down, anyway. #breadonPiDay #notaprettybaker.”

Of course, we have some unsolicited advice to give. Next time we’d suggest a little doughy reinforcement around those guys’ necks—a jaunty dough scarf, perhaps. Also, maybe stick to pie on Pi Day. (Just saying.) Regardless of their macabre appearances, we bet the cinnamon men tasted just as delicious as if their heads weren’t severed.

Moral of the story: Perfection is overrated. It does kinda look like they ran into Tony Soprano in the oven, though.
