It’s no secret that Jennifer Garner shares three children—Violet (17), Seraphina (14) and Samuel (11)—with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. While they divorced back in 2018, the actress, 51, still has major appreciation for the father of her children, 50.
Earlier this month, Garner shared a special Father’s Day post on Instagram. It featured a photo of the actress posing with her parents, Patricia and William, along with a heartfelt message for Affleck.
The beginning of the caption referenced Garner’s dad, William. “Happy Father’s Day to the best to ever do the job. (Jeans in church— I made my connecting flight, but my luggage didn’t),” she wrote. “We love you, Dad. X.”
Garner concluded the post by adding a special shout-out for Affleck: “PS Shout out to BGA—no one loves their kids like you love ours, happy Father’s Day, Ben! X.”
Fans and followers filled the comments section with positive messages about Garner’s note for Affleck. One person wrote, “I appreciate you so much. #1 jeans in church. #2 acknowledgment toward your ex. You are the real deal. Thank you for posting!” Another added, “Just when I think you can’t get any classier. What a woman!”
Affleck’s current wife, Jennifer Lopez, also shared a special tribute on social media in honor of Father’s Day. This included a shirtless photo of the actor, along with the caption: “Daddy Appreciation Post [stars emoji]. Happy Father’s Day Papa.”
