According to Jennifer Aniston, if Friends was to get the reboot treatment it would be way too snoozy for today's TV standards. So you're telling us there isn't a chance...

The former Friends actress sat down with Arianna Huffington for the debut episode of her "Thrive Global Podcast." Aniston doesn't use social media and opts for morning meditation over groggy-eyed email reading. But that doesn't mean she isn't keenly aware of how different our modern world looks from the days when she and Monica could inexplicably afford a spacious two-bedroom apartment in New York City.

Squashing all of our Friends revival hopes and dreams, Aniston told Huffington, “If Friends was created today, you would have a coffee shop full of people that were just staring into iPhones...There would be no actual episodes or conversations.” Aka Gunther’s ultimate fantasy.

I mean, we’d totally get a kick out of Gunther refusing to give Ross Central Perk’s Wi-Fi password.
