Jenna Dewan’s Daughter Cried When She Found Out That Her Mom Was Pregnant

The internet may have freaked out over Jenna Dewan’s pregnancy news, but it was her daughter Everly who had the sweetest reaction. 

On a visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, the expecting mother opened up about when she broke the news to her 6-year-old daughter (who she shares with Channing Tatum). 

"She is so thrilled," the actress said. "I knew she would be happy ’cause she's been asking for this. But as soon as she found out she started crying. She was like, ‘This is the best day of my life!'" Um, adorable.

It might even be possible that Everly is a little too excited. Dewan admitted that her daughter is so overjoyed, she is always pulling her mom’s shirt up to expose her belly. Yes, even in public. 

"And then she's like, ‘Don't you wanna touch it?'…She's so proud," the 38-year-old said. 

Dewan and boyfriend Steve Kazee confirmed that they were expecting their first child together to People in an exclusive last month. “We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!” the couple stated. 

They made their first official (pregnant) red carpet appearance when they attended the WWE 20th anniversary celebration a few weeks later. 

It seems like Kazee and Everly already have a pretty solid relationship with the actor writing a sweet tribute to her in an Instagram post. 

“Jenna also brought with her one of the greatest gifts one could ever imagine…her beautiful daughter,” he wrote. “Evie burst into my life like a supernova and has continued to burn so brightly in it. I have learned so much about parenting already from watching how amazing Jenna is with her and Evie has taught me so much about what it means to love and communicate with a child. I can’t wait to give her a sibling and make our little family a little bit bigger.” 

We definitely can’t wait either.
