James Middleton Is Back on Instagram & More Focused on Dogs Than Ever

Sure, James Middleton is the brother of one of our favorite royals (Kate Middleton, anyone?) and a mental health advocate. But one of the most charming things about him is that he loves dogs. He’s not your average I’ll-pet-a-dog-if-I-see-one kind of guy. He’s an I-own-six-pups kind of dude and we love him for it. Today, the 32-year-old doubled down even harder on his dog lover brand for a good reason.

Middleton, who got engaged late last year, returned to Instagram today after a month-and-a-half social media detox and announced that he’s focusing on the benefits of furry friends more than ever.

The youngest Middleton sibling shared a photo of himself smiling and riding his dog bike (it’s back!) across London’s Albert Bridge with five darling doggos in the basket. He captioned it, “We’re back. After a detox of all things social media Me, Ella & Co + our beloved bike are back. It’s been over a year now since writing publicly about my experiences with clinical depression & how my dogs played a vital role in my recovery.”

He added that he’s now devoted to showing how much dogs can improve mental and physical health, writing, “This year I want to focus on hi-lighting how amazing dogs really are, not just from a pet perspective, but how your physical & mental health can benefit too (and much more).”

On his Instagram Stories, Middleton also shared a video of himself riding with his pups while the chorus of the Florence + the Machine song “Dog Days Are Over” fittingly played.

All we can say is well done, James. Well done. Now, more dog pics, please.
