James Corden might want to stick to his good old Carpool Karaoke.

Songstress Demi Lovato appeared on the Late Late Show and challenged the musically inclined host to a heated divas-then/divas-now riff-off. The challenge came to light after Corden claimed divas of yesteryear deserved more R-E-S-P-E-C-T than today's greats. That's a big no-no, Cordo.

The duo faced off in an a cappella battle complete with songs from Adele, Tina Turner and Lovato's hit "Heart Attack." Surprise, surprise, Demi crushed it. The pair settled their differences with a glorious rendition of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive."

Watch the hilarious riff-off while we make an "All Demi, All Day" playlist.
