Jake Gyllenhaal Just Joined Instagram…& Immediately Got Trolled by Ryan Reynolds & Tom Holland

It’s 2018, yet somehow Jake Gyllenhaal just joined Instagram last week. He shared a post, made a joke and received a warm trolling welcome from Ryan Reynolds and Tom Holland.

It all started when Gyllenhaal, 37, shared a video of himself reading a Spider-Man comic book with a shocked expression on his face.

He captioned his inaugural post, “I just realized I’m not playing Spider-Man,” (He’s playing Quentin Beck/Mysterio in the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Far from Home). And that’s when the Reynolds trolling began.

The 42-year-old Deadpool star commented, “I just realized I’m not playing Spider-Man either,” to which Gyllenhaal quipped back, “@VancityReynolds You’re not even playing Ryan Reynolds anymore.” Burn.

But that wasn’t all. Then, Holland, the current Spider-Man, jumped in and wrote, “I just realized I AM playing Spiderman.”

The 22-year-old Spidey added the laughing face emoji to lighten the blow but misspelled Spider-Man, so there’s that.

Will the real Slim Shady Spider-Man please stand up?
