Guinness on tap and whiskers on kittens, these are a few of our favorite things. And now, The Just Cats Veterinary Clinic and Cattery in Dublin, Ireland, is offering one lucky cat lover the chance to enjoy both—and get paid for it. (Well, get paid for cuddling cats that is, not for drinking stout.)
The veterinary clinic recently posted a job vacancy announcing that they’re looking for a full-time cat cuddler. And to be honest, it sounds right up our alley cat. Here’s what they’re looking for: Are you a crazy cat person and love cats? Does cattitude come naturally to you? Does petting cats make you feel warm and fuzzy? (Yes, yes and yes.)
“An ability to understand different types of purring is a distinct added advantage in helping you secure this position with us,” the clinic adds in the online job post.
And while Dublin’s only veterinary clinic just for cats is an equal opportunities employer, it’s important to know that they do discriminate against dogs attending the clinic as patients.
