Don’t say we didn’t warn you: “In a Heartbeat,” the adorable passion project (which was funded on Kickstarter) from computer animation students Beth David and Esteban Bravo, will make you feel all the feels.
The four-minute-long film follows two adolescent boys who fall in love at first sight. But their entire romance almost goes awry when Sherwin—one of the boys—sees his heart physically pop out of his chest in an attempt to alert his love interest, Jonathan, that he has a crush.
Watch, swoon and share with your own kids. (“See, guys: Animation isn’t all talking cars and flying Buzz Lightyears.”)
