What happens when you combine the musicality of La La Land with P. T. Barnum’s life story? You get the wildly entertaining new trailer for the upcoming film The Greatest Showman.
Twentieth Century Fox just dropped the latest trailer for the highly anticipated Barnum-inspired movie, and it has more than enough choreographed dance numbers, intricate costumes and Hugh Jackman performance bits to fill our music-loving hearts.
Unlike the first trailer, which focused on Barnum’s rags-to-riches story, the new trailer features a first look at the journey and backlash Barnum (Jackman) faced while bringing his vision to life. The video features a montage of clips showcasing the one-of-a-kind spectacle Barnum masterminded, in addition to a series of trapeze stunts synchronized with Jackman’s gyrating hips.
The film also stars Michelle Williams (Manchester by the Sea), Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Zac Efron (Baywatch) and Rebecca Ferguson (The Girl on the Train).
The Greatest Showman hits theaters on December 20. Guess Christmas is coming early, after all.
