In Claire We Trust: Robin Wright to Lead Season 6 of ‘House of Cards’
David Giesbrecht/Netflix

Um, is Jessica Chastain a psychic or did she just predict the fate of Team Underwood on House of Cards

Yesterday, Ted Sarandos, the content chief of Netflix, announced that the sixth season of the hit series will resume production in early 2018 sans Kevin Spacey (Frank Underwood). Oh, and did we mention those final eight episodes will star the one and only Robin Wright (Claire Underwood)?

Back in October, Netflix suspended production of the sixth season before announcing they were cutting all ties with Spacey. That same month, rumors began circulating about a potential House of Cards spin-off involving Frank’s bushy-browed chief of staff, Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly).

But who knows, season six just might convince Netflix of Wright’s spin-off potential. *Crosses fingers*

The sixth and final season of House of Cards hits Netflix sometime in 2018. (Claire’s impeccable posture included.)
