David Giesbrecht/Netflix

Au revoir, Underwoods. Netflix is officially putting an end to Francis Underwood’s reign on House of Cards after six binge-worthy seasons.

Today the streaming giant announced that its first original series, House of Cards, will come to an end after the upcoming sixth season. While Netflix hasn’t announced a premiere date for the final season yet, we do know production on the sixth season began earlier this month.

The first season of House of Cards premiered in 2013 and marked the start of Netflix’s venture into original programming. The series stars Kevin Spacey (Francis Underwood), Robin Wright (Claire Underwood), Michael Kelly (Doug Stamper) and Nathan Darrow (Edward Meechum).

Guess we’ll need to find new perfect-posture inspo now that Claire Underwood’s days are numbered.
