Did You Love Netflix’s ‘Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat’? Tune In to Chef Samin Nosrat’s New Podcast

During these times of self quarantining, we can admit it’s a bit difficult to find inspiration especially when it comes to cooking dinner every night.

Lucky for us, food expert, teacher and author Samin Nosrat has launched a brand-new podcast that focuses on navigating your kitchen and making dishes that actually taste good.

Samin teamed up with musician and podcaster Hrishikesh Hirway to launch Home Cooking—a four-part podcast that answers questions about what to cook at home while providing entertaining and uplifting anecdotes.

If you didn’t know, Nosrat is the author of The New York Times bestselling book Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: Mastering the Elements of Good Cooking and the host and executive producer of the popular Netflix original series based on her book.

According to a press release, Samin and Hrishikesh decided to create Home Cooking to offer useful tips for cooking with pantry ingredients, while also providing a fun and a lighthearted way for people to pass time while practicing social distancing.

Each Home Cooking episode features “quarantine cooking questions,” stories from listeners and a celebrity guest. All four segments will also loosely revolve around an ingredient theme, with the first episode titled “Bean There, Done That” (which was released on Friday), focusing on (you guessed it) beans.

Happy listening!
