In a world where celebrity children have names like Apple and Blue Ivy, Hilary Duff’s 6-year-old son, Luca, has some innovative thoughts on how to help his future little sister stand out.

The pregnant Younger star visited The Late Late Show with James Corden last night, and when the affable host asked how Luca is taking the baby news, Duff revealed that he’s still not entirely convinced his sister is human.

“He told his friend at school the other day that he’s having a sister that’s part red-butt monkey,” Duff admitted. “So we’ll see! It’ll be a first. That’ll be really cool.”

But that’s not all. In addition to being partially primate, Luca wants her to have a Kardashian-level unique name. “Luca thinks ‘Cofant Croissant’ is like the coolest name,” Duff laughed.

There are some positives to the moniker, however. As Duff reasoned, “There would be no confusion. And when I just refer to it as ‘Cofant,’ and I’m like, ‘That would be so cool, no one at school’s going to be named Cofant.’” But Luca isn’t into simplifying the name. “He’s like, ‘Croissant. Cofant Croissant.’ It goes together. There’s no separating the two,” Duff laughed.

Corden voted yes on the one-of-a-kind name, but we still have our reservations.
