The ring features a large oval cut diamond that can pretty much be seen from a mile away. According to Money, the stone is an estimated 3 to 3.5 carats. “Heather’s glamorous ring features what appears to be an estimated 3 to 3.5 carat oval diamond set on a white gold or platinum diamond accented band,” she told PureWow.
The jewelry expert noted that the “elegant simplicity of the ring’s design allows the gorgeous center diamond to be the focal point.”
Money estimates the ring cost anywhere between $45,000 and $85,000. Cha-ching! She explained the varying price depends “on the quality and specific characteristics of the center gemstone.”
Oval cut diamonds are a rising trend among celebrity brides, and we can see why. Money confirmed the elongated shape flatters fingers of all sizes. “Oval cut diamonds in particular remain popular among celebrities, adorning the hands of Blake Lively, Sienna Miller and Bindi Irwin,” she explained. “Elongated diamonds—like oval, elongated cushion and emerald cuts—create a flattering look as their shape lengthens the wearer’s finger.”
Heisser currently works in Los Angeles as a contractor. He’s a former AMA motocross racer, who has known Locklear for quite some time. In fact, they were high school sweethearts in the ’70s and rekindled their romance in 2017. The rest, as they say, is history.
