Brace Yourselves, Muggles: ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ Is Coming to Broadway
Attention, Muggles: Have you been dying to see the theatrical production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child but haven't had the chance to make the journey across the pond to see it? Well, we have some exciting news. London's smash-hit play is making its way to Broadway's Lyric Theater on April 22, 2018.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child premiered at London's Palace Theater in July 2016 and has already received heaps of acclaim from theater critics and dedicated Potter-heads. The story, which is divided into two parts, takes place 19 years after the conclusion of J.K. Rowling's famous literary series and follows the spellbinding adventures of a now-adult Potter; his son, Albus Severus; and Scorpius Malfoy, the protégé of Potter's former nemesis.
Broadway's Lyric Theater will also receive a mini makeover in preparation of Hogwarts' freshly announced 2018 school year.
Tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be available for purchase this fall. Back to bingeing on Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans…
