The Oscar winners opened up in a recent interview with InStyle about the profound shift that occurred in their lives when they became parents.
Paltrow recalled a conversation they once had about motherhood and said, “When we were talking about having kids and the impact that it had on us, you [Barrymore] said something I use to this day: ‘I was born the day they were born.’ It always gives me goose bumps. You’ll just say something that will knock the wind out of me.”
Barrymore’s response? “Holy s**t! Thank you.”
