PSA: You Can Now Zip-Line Over the Grand Canyon

Calling all thrill seekers: You can now experience one of the most famous natural wonders in the U.S. in a unique, if slightly insane, way.

The Hualapai Ranch at Grand Canyon West in Arizona has just opened two “quad zip lines” (meaning you can zip-line solo or side by side with your bucket list BFF) comprising about 3,500 feet of cable. Adrenaline junkies can reach speeds up to 50 miles per hour while flying nearly 1,000 feet above the floor of a side canyon on the west side of the national park.

Planning a trip out West? The Grand Canyon zip line is open Tuesday through Friday9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and costs $89 per person (tickets cannot be booked in advance).

Oh, and don’t forget the GoPro. Lord knows “I dropped my phone into the Grand Canyon” isn’t going to end well for anyone.
