Glossier’s Newest Product Just Made Its Oscar Debut (and Totally Stole the Red Carpet Show)

Leave it to Glossier to make Oscar night *this much* more exciting. Last night, the beloved millennial-pink beauty brand harnessed the power (and eyelids) of celebs walking the red carpet  to launch its first eye shadow.

The product is Lidstar, a pearly, glowy cream eye shadow that, according to the website, lasts for 12 hours—without primer. We. Must. Try.

The launch was teased on Instagram before the shadow was revealed on a select group of the night’s biggest stars, from Best Supporting Actress winner Allison Janney to Salma Hayek and Maya Rudolph. (It officially became available to us plebeians this morning.) Our favorite part? Each of the six sheer but buildable colors is universally flattering. See for yourself:

A genius marketing strategy, if you ask us. We’ll do pretty much anything to get one step closer to Tracee Ellis Ross.
