Girlfriend Collective (Our Go-To for Sustainable Athleisure) Is Launching Socks & Underwear Today

We may love Girlfriend Collective for their athleisure—especially their compression high-rise leggings—but the sustainable brand just gave us another reason to be eco-friendly. Yup, they just launched a new line of socks and underwear.

The range of everyday wear includes crew socks, thongs and briefs and, according to a press release, each is made from recycled plastic bottles, similar to Girlfriend Collective's signature leggings. The company also partnered with Unifi to take back all old Girlfriend socks and underwear and recycle them into new pairs.

We also can’t forget to mention that starting today, 100 percent of net proceeds will be donated to organizations that are providing meaningful support and services to Black communities including The Loveland Foundation, The Okra Project and the NAACP Legal & Defense Fund.

We’ve rounded up a few of our favorites from the launch below. Happy shopping!
