George Clooney is a man of many talents: He’s an Oscar-winning actor, tequila connoisseur, activist and professional dreamboat. But George’s greatest gift, according to his wife, Amal, is his natural flair for fatherhood.
The duo recently welcomed The Hollywood Reporter into their palatial Lake Como estate in Italy for an interview on all things Clooney. And guess what Amal says is the biggest surprise she encountered during her four fairy-tale years with George...“What a great father he is.”
Three months ago, the power couple's lives changed drastically with the birth of their precious angel twins, Ella and Alexander. It seems even George was surprised at how easily he adapted to fatherhood after decades of being Hollywood's most eligible bachelor.
When asked about his life pre-family of four, George shared, “That seems like a lifetime ago. Now my house is filled with the warm sounds of babies crying. You should see when my friends show up and see me change a diaper, the laughter that comes from them. I go, 'I know, I know.' I've given them so much sh*t for so many years, I deserve every bit of it."
The 56-year-old new dad added he's surprised at his talent in the fine art of diaper changing, and while he's been an insomniac for most of his life, new parenthood has left both him and his wife severely “unrested.” Join the club...says Prince William and every other new parent.
The Clooneys said they do not plan to have any more children, but since they're both such naturals, who knows?...
